Smoothed surfaces

Hello all,

How to stop showing smoothed surfaces in Navisworks? Here I show a snapshot of some corridor made with Civil 3D. I was able to show or triangles (img1) or smoothed surface (img2) and I would like to show faceted as show in the third image (img3 - created with C3D):

Thanks guys,

Diego

Dear diegoal

If you export out from Civil directly to an NWC through the NWCOUT command does the same issue occur? If not, then perhaps there is a missing object enabler if you are opening the native DWG file.

You can find the Autodesk object enablers for Navisworks here:
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/index?siteID=123112&id=2334440&linkID=10382102

There is detailed article on enablers and missing objects here:

If that doesn’t help or if it does but there is still rounding, if you unmark “Merge 3D Faces” under Application Button > Options > File Readers > DWG and refresh the DWG in Navisworks, does it resolve the issue.  You can access this setting for the exporter in AutoCAD as well by running the NWOPT command.

Best regards
