shading of Cadworx 2014 components

We have recently installed AutoCad 2014, Cadworx 2014 and Navisworx 2014.

The Cadworx "cadworx_plant_components"  do not shade (see attached) Note: the items that did shade are Autocad Solids.

Also, when selected the Cadworx attributes are not displayed in the properties box.

Is there a setting or fix for these issues?  Note: the selection settings.

How do you create your Navisworks:

1) open the DWG in Navisworks 2014

OR

2) NWCout in CADworkx 2014 ?

What is your display style in AutoCAD when the DWG is closed. Wireframe ? Shaded ?

1. Check the Scene statistics.  This will probably notify you that you are missing the object enabler.

2. Ensure the object enabler is installed.  Doesn't hurt to re-install it.

3. Check the DWG Reader version.  The newer CADWorx versions with the OE-dependant objects are sensitive to this.

  1. I open the DWG file

The drawing display style is usually wireframe sometimes shaded.

I have installed the enabler in AutoCad and it now displays properly.

This did not fix the NavisWorks display.

Is there a proceedure to install the enabler in NavisWorks?

Not that I've seen.  Its just a matter of installing it with Navisworks already installed to ensure its properly registered.

Could you please explain how you were able to get CADworx 2014 to show properly in NAVISWorks?
