Sectioning effect during navigation (walk)

Thsi is for Navisworks 2013 Manage.

I just happened to have this sort of sectioning effect while I navigate the model (walk tool)

I was reading some of the older posts suggesting to change the setting of "culling" and the clipping plane?

I tweaked little bit and didn't seem to change anything.

Can anybody give me a feedback what's the right setting for the culling and clipping plane, please?

Thanks in advance.

Just Play around with the values. I don't know if your model is in inches or meters, but start with Fixed 0.1 for the front and Fixed 1000 for the far clipping plane.
But you may have to do this with all your Viewpoints:
- Activate
- Edit Viewpoint
- Update Viewpiont
in order to get it out of your NWF or NWD completely

It's in ft and inches.

Thank you for your post and also thank you Patrick for your suggestion.  In the product there are a number of settings and depending on the values themselves, the resultants can be very different.  How did the suggestion above work out?  For reference I have included a helpful link below on this feature.  Please keep us posted in the community and let us know if this helped.  Thank you.

The problem is like I don't want the sectioning effect but it still gives me the sectioning effect even with the sectioning dsabled.

Can I email you the NWD file for you to look at?  It's about 5MB.

Thanks,

David

You can upload to your post and I can then review if you would like.

Go to "file options" <shift + f11> and change the near clipping planes from automatic to fixed with a distance of 1.

If this fixes it, one of your models has crap somewhere out in space.

To test this, return your clipping planes to automatic, and then invoke ^ + home <control + home>, your model should get very far away or small.
There will be objects at the extreme edges of your screen that are causing the issues.
You can hide them, but it's better to train your cohorts to work correctly and clean their models.
Repeat this in plan and a side view.

Perk
