save a equipment to a new file as reusable model

Someone give a example Navisworks NWD file, I am trying to select a car from the model and save as a reusable model for futrure use.  Anyone can give me guide on how to create this model?

If you hide all but the car you want in the NWD file and export to FBX the FBX will only contain the car. Then open the FBX in Navisworks.
