Reset appearance and certain items still remain hidden

I hid some structural slabs during the walkthrough.  When I'm done, and right click the structural file and reset item > reset appearance, the structural slabs still remain hidden.  I have to manually go to the selection tree to look for the hidden slabs to unhide them.

Why the reset appearance doesn't apply to everything inside the file?

Dear diesellam

Reset appearance only resets color and transparency overrides.  If you wish to reset items that are hidden :

1. I would recommend creating a selection or search set for the items you wish to hide in each file which will allow you to select these to hide unhide and/or create separate viewpoints with these items hidden unhidden to switch between.

2. If you wish to reset hidden items in the entire project, you can right click  the unhide all button in the visibility panel of the Home Tab.

3. If you wish to unhide only specific elements that are hidden in a file:

Open Find Items in the Select and Search Panel of the home tab

Select the file name in the Search In tree

Add the condition to find all items with Category: Item,  Property: Hidden,   Condition: =, and Value: True

When you click find, all hidden elements in the file will be selected (though you won’t see them) and you can click hide to unhide them.

Cool.  Right click the screen, click Reset All > Unhide All works.

Thanks for the tips once again.
