Rendering point cloud

Wondering if it's possible to include a point cloud when rendering a model from Navisworks.

When we Render, only the 3D solids show up. The points do not.

We want to save some images of proposed equipment in an existing point cloud, but the image saved directly from Navisworks does not look as good as just using the SNIPPING tool from Windows.

For now, we are just using Windows SNIPPING tool.

Any suggestions?

You can toggle the onscreen rendering of Point Clouds, using the information in the following help topic:

To Toggle the Rendering of Points

However, I am not seeing an option to output the Point Clouds, through the Image, Rendered Image, or Ray Trace commands within Navisworks.

As an alternative to the Windows Snipping Tool, you could look into printing the viewpoint (with the Point Cloud) to PDF, or to an image (using the appropriate third party printer).
