Pipe fittings when exporting to Navisworks from Revit

I've been having an issue where my pipe fittings will appear incorrectly in the Navisworks file. Note the large Tee.

On accident, about 5 minutes later I exported from a different 3D view using the same method as the previous photo. This time all the pipe fittings showed up correctly:

Everything I do to create the Navisworks .nwc is the same for both of these images. The only difference is which 3D view I decide to export from. 

I even created a template from the view that exported correctly and applied it to the first view. Still had the same fittings looking off when I exported.

This isn't an issue so much as an oddity. I'm curious if someone could enlighten me why different views from the same model would end up looking different when exported to Navisworks from inside Revit.
