I just tried to open a Revit (rvt) file in Navisworks and many of the objects are missing.
In my Revit model the extrerior walls for each level are grouped but when I open the .rvt model in Navisworks half of the walls are missing as well as windows, doors and interial walls.
I can still export the model as an .nwd and open i Navisworks.
Anyone who knows what may cause this problem?

The NWReader for RVT has "issues". And, btw, the SP1 for NW2013 doesn't fix it. Your workflow to Export NWC from Revit is still the best way.
Thanks for your answer, dennis!
I hope Autodesk will fix this for future versions. That would reduce my need of the Revit software as a coordinator in the project. Now we still have to buy a Revit license just to open the files and export them to nwc.
The exporter from Revit to NW is a free download from Autodesk. Rather than buying a license just to export, perhaps you could get your contractors/designers to install and export for you.
