NM 2015 Timeliner Export w/AutoDesk Renderer

Hello guys,

When I export Timeliner with Autodesk Renderer, I am not able to see dates, activities running, etc..

Do you guys have any idea why is it not showing this with Autodesk Render.

Thanks

Suresh C

You mean, the date-time-etc. string is missing from an MPG/AVI/etc. movie file?

Yes, when I follow attached while exporting, NM2015 doesn't show date-time-etc.

But when I select Viewport for Renderer option NM 2015 shows all whatever I require.

Thanks

This is a well known and long-time shortcoming of the Timeliner.  The date-time information is overlaid onto the viewport (using OpenGL, if I remember rightly).  The rendered output is done differently so there is currently no way to get that information directly into an exported movie file.  You would need to overlay your own text using post-processing software; among other benefits, getting overlay text synchronized with the movie is much easier when rendering to frames rather than straight-to-video.

Hi Suresh.

I faced the same problem and found the Solution for the same.

When you export the Animation, in the Render Option, Select "Viewport" and then export it.

You will get all the Overlay Text Data.

This worked in NW Simulate 2014.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.
