Navisworks Viewer on Web Portal?

Can we embed Navisworks on the web portal?

The web portal for plant owners have lots of drawings, documents, P&ID's and 3D models.

When a user is looking at the drawings & documnts, s/he wants to see the specific item in 3D Model on web browser.

Any advice is welcome.

Our media team has looked at it, and found it a little too finicky to be reliable.  Biggest problem was they couldn't get it work from a Mac, plus problems installing the ActiveX plug-in on a Win7 computer.  Even when it does work, navigation can be choppy with typical consumer-grade hardware.

If you are going to fly by the seat of your pants, expect friction burns.
Adopt. Adapt. Overcome. Or be overcome.
A good question will be halfway to a good answer.

I believe the technology is available, it is a matter of tweaking it. Take a look at the latest Buzzsaw 2013 where you can upload NWD files and view online.
