Navisworks Manage Quantification

Hi,

We are currently evaluating Navisworks manage, mainly for the quantification aspect.

Quantification works well, but I am trying to find out how to print off a marked up drawing. I need to provide a marked up paper version of the drawings to our installation teams to show them exactly what has been allowed for in our quotes.

I am able to print the drawings off directly from Navisworks, but it removes all of the mark ups. I have managed to do a screen print of the drawings showing the mark ups but the quality is very poor.

Can anyone offer any suggestions and my local reseller is stumped by this too.

Have you tried creating the Viewpoints report and print that ?
i'm not sure if that would fit your needs, it's only a suggestion

Yes, just tried that, but it stii dosent show the mark ups. Thanks

There are 2 ways:
1) Markup using a tag. This wil create a tag view automatically.
This tagged view wil show with markups in the Report.
2) Activate a (tag) Viewpoint. Create additional markups. Right click the viewpoint (without activating it) and choose Update. The markups are now added to the viewpoint.
3) Save your NWF or NWD
4) then create the viewpoint report again.
