Navisworks Manage - Freedom Clashes

Is there a way to run clash detection in navisworks manage then have them stored in the .nwd file so those clashes can be viewed with navisworks freedom or simulate?

The report generator has an option which will convert the clashes to Viewpoints in the file.  Clash details are stored as a comment attached to each viewpoint.  I don't think there's a way to get the Clash Detective style view overrides to stick, if thats what you're after.

There is a way, but with a lot of manual work:
1st check your options -> Interface -> Viewpoint Defaults -> "Save Hide/Required Attributes" and "Override Materials" should be switched ON. Restart Manage if you changed something
2) Make a new viewpoint where everthing is shown in normal colors
Save as an NWD.
3) Run the clash test if you haven't already done
4) Categorise the Clash tests so that doubles are marked as solved and that the ones you want are categorised as new
5) Run the clash test report to generate viewpoints for each new clash
6) Close the clash detective, select all and override colour to grey and transparancy to 20% if you want. Save this viewpoint.
Check: if you ****ch between this viewpoint and the one made at point 2), everthing should turn grey and back to colour. Activate the grey viewpoint.
6) Here comes the manual part: for each generated viewpoint
Activate the viewpoint, select the clashing objects, override their color to Red or orange, update the viewpoint.
Save the NWD

Thank you both for the reply.  Yeah a kind of basic clash detective is what I am after.  A way to see the list of clashs with the ability to click on a clash and then have to items inloved highlighted so you can view the clash in 3d and see what is surrounding it.  You get some of this with the viewpoints, but it doesn't highlight the items involved.  Overriding the colors in each viewpoint would work although that sounds like a lot of work.
