Navisworks Manage 2016 will not start up

All of a sudden I get this error when I try to open Navisworks 2016

"The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)"

I have tried repairing and re-installing but still the same result. I also have Navisworks 2014 , it works fine.

Anyone see this error?

Hi @CCAMINOS0700!

This error is usually caused when there is a mismatch of version number or if the .exe file is modified somehow after the installation. Have you tried a clean uninstall of Navisworks? Then please verify the build number is right for the latest update.

Thank you. It turns out I had an add-on that was causing this error. As soon as I uninstalled the add-on the error went away. I downloaded the latest version of the add-on and it was corrected.
