Navisworks files in Vault Collaboration?

Wondering if anyone has used Navisworks with Vault.

Specifically would like to know if links are maintained/recognized by Vault.

nope there is no add in for navisworks to use vault

you probably  can add navisworks files to the vault but there is not relationship between navisworks and vault

I know this in an old post that I am trying to revive.  I noticed in Navisworks Simulate 2013 the vault ribbon is now available.  Is anyone using it?  If I append from vault rather than a basic append, it appears that vault checks out all of the appended dwg files when the navis file is checked out, which is undesired.  Is there a way to check out the Navis file without checking out all of its appended files?
