Navisworks 2016 SP4 and Exporters

ooh shoot... just installed Navisworks 2016 Service Pack 4.

Now the Exporters are broken.

I was thinking that earlier Service Packs for Navis there was a separate Exporter update that needed to be ran also.

I don't find anything like this for SP4.

Help please!

Nope I tried this... NWNavigator still crashes AutoCAD MEP 2016

We had this issue with AutoCAD MEP 2016 and Navis SP3... reinstalling exporters works there.

But I cant get it to work with SP4.

Trying this solution below. Pausing this post to try.

... phooyey, didn't work.

See the attached image: I renamed the offending dll, uninstalled exporters and reinstalled.

Still the same error with the newly replaced offending dll.

See the attached image.

No 2017 Autodesk Software installed.

  • AutoCAD MEP 2016
  • NavisWorks Manage 2016
  • NavisWorks Simulate 2016
  • NavisWorks Freedom 2016
  • Revit 2016
  • Revit 2015
  • Inventor 2016

And yes, .NET 4.6.1 is on it.

The error is very similar to what the error was under SP3... (previously we were on 2014 software, the error was there also) all of these was a .NET error.

Seems to me that Autodesk has a compliment SP3 for the Exporters.

I'm wondering if 2018 is going to work....I'm still on 2015 because of all the complications I hear about with 2016 and 2017 on a daily basis....WTH is going on ????

I've posted to Installation and Licensing Forum in an attempt to find an answer for this.

This forum doesn't allow me to escallate the post for an answer... the Installation of Licensing Forum does.
