I just installed this service pack.  Now when I run a clash report (as viewpoints),  the first viewpoint is "Reset Appearance", which I have never seen before.

The remaining viewpoints  don't contain any review markups like clouded areas or text added while reviewing clashes.   Lastly I'm loosing all my transparency settings.  It seems just by creating a viewpoint report, it's automatically "unhiding all" of the subsequent saved viewpoints and and somehow resetting transparency.

My "save/hide attributes" viewpoints settings  are checked (on).  No apperance profiler set up.  Saved viewpoints reports (from clashes) create before this SP2 are fine with no issues.  Any ideas are appreciated.

We lost the Add-in tab as well as installed plug-in after installing SP2.  Is it more likely that this an issue with SP2 or the installed plug-in?  Anyone else lose plug-ins?

Navisworks Manage 2013 SP2 64-bit

Does roll back to Navisworks Manage SP1 require complete unintall of Navisworks 2013, reinstall of original Navisworks 2013 and then update to SP1?

Thank you,

As the readme says, fixed some buggy actions.  However, I am sadden to report, that the READER for RVT files, specifically RMEP still doesn't grab the pipe fittings properly.  Straight pieces of pipe come in fine, the fittings come in as single-line.  The first thing I did after installing the Update2, I ran the OPEN on a RMEP file to confirm.  See attachment.  So, could we be looking for an Update3 that may fix this or are we looking to 2014?

I'm having the same issue as concrete1988.

In addition, when I put the new Saved Viewpoint Clash Report folders into a single dated folder, the model turned into coordination view and would not return to regular view regardless of which tab I was on in the Clash Detection module (and even when the module was not open).

I have uninstalled Service Pack 2.  It was so promising, but this issue completely undermined my workflow.

Thank you.

An updated plug-in repaired our issue with losing the Add-ins table in Navisworks Manage SP2.

Can I simply un-install SP2? Or will this cause more problems.

I am experiencing the same issues described by concrete1988 and would like to add the following:

1. The clash detective viewpoints created with SP2 increase the size of the published nwd's tremendously (approximately 15 MB per 300 clash viewpoints). An nwd with 3000 clashes which is typical on a heavy TI project level would become 150 MB.

2. Not all the "reset appearance" viewpoints created actually work. Most retain the clash detective view.  The only way around it is to create your own saved viewpoint of the desired appearance and edit the viewpoint with the "save hide/required" and "override materials" boxes checked. This viewpoint can then be used to reset the appearance as needed.

Even though NW can read the native RVT format now, are you getting different results from an NWC export from revit. This IMO is the better safer option.

@Revitforbreakfast:

Yep, like you, I do EXPORTs rather than using the READER.

I have just modified our deployment to include SP2 and it now no longer works. The installs rollback when they get to the point of installing the file readers because these are looking for a specific build version of Navisworks (10.0.840.82) whereas the SP has patched this to 10.2.910.43 so the installer reports that no suitable product is installed and thus rolls back. Is there any fix to this other than rebuilding our deployment without the SP included?

hey Dennis. I had the same issue. I solved it in the visibility settings of the family in revit

Since installing the SP2 saving views out of the clash detective has reset all the visiblity setting in the saved views..In addition to dramatically increasing the file size of my composites.

What can be done to fix the visibility overrides occuring out of the clash detective and the "reset appearance" condition?
