Navisworks 2012 Importers / Exporters for 4 flavours of Revit

We are trying to cut back on the products we support currently in house of our deployment images. The sheer size of server space used is phenomenal!!!

What i want to know is can Navisworks 2012 support Revit 2009 / 2010 / 2011 and 2012? Will the importers / exporters be compatible on all those versions? Or do i need Navisworks 2009 / 2010 / 2011 / 2012 deployment images also for the equivalent Revit versions?

I am guessing the method mentioned above is right, But i thought it would be safer to check? Also are there any known issues doing this?

DuncanBrannan82,

Hello. Exporters are designed to be Backwards compatible. The 2012 exporters will install on 2012 Revit and prior versions down through Revit 2008. If you do not want to build a full Navisworks installation for the exporters, you can simply design your deployment to be only the exporters (smaller than the full deployment with teh program installed), or download the 2012 exporters separately and install them as needed. The lone exporter download is available here:
