naviswork simulate 2015 to revit 2015

Hello All the navisworks masters

I hope i am in the right forum. i was given a step file which i believe is from solidworks. i have to create a revit project. what i have done is that i have open the step file in navisworks similate and tried to save if to an fbx file and nwf file. i was wondering if there is a way to save to a file type so that revit structure will be able to recognize. i noticed that in revit i can open an ifc file type but i don't see an option that i can save the project to that format.

i was wondering if anyone help guide me in which i can open the project in revit.

your help is appreciated

Thanks in advance

Kevin

You can use 3dsMax to save FBX files to DWG or SAT to link into Revit. Or you could use the IFC Exporter by iConstruct. More details on various options at:
