Do you have an object a long way from the model or a very large ground plane? Hiding these objects that are not visible in the render should resolve this.

The problem you report, where is it looks like triangles are missing from the render is a known issue when rendering models with a large boundary. Can you Zoom All and make sure there are no spurious objects a long way from the camera. Additionally hide all objects that will not be in display in the render. If you have a ground plane consider reducing the size of this to what can be seen in the render, try this out without a ground plane. This is not memory, graphics card or driver related.

I am having similar issues with rendering, does anyone know if this was ever resolved, and if so, wha tthe solution is?  Sample of the problem attached, take note of the handrails for example.
