My project is 3 km x 1 km, and my Project Basepoint is 400 km away (situation related to Paris).
When I want to move an object with the animator, I cannot use the axis to move it, but i can only enter numerically.
When I use the axis, the values X, Y and Z are changed to "-1,#J" and the object dissapears.
Any suggestions how I can avoid this value from being entered in the X, Y and Z transformations?
Thanx in Advance
Does this issue only occur
with this particular model or does it also with some of the example models that come with Navisworks?
Click the Home tab and slide out the Project Panel. Then click Scene Statistics. Please snap a screenshot of what is stated
for the bounding box. This states how
large the 3D model space is.
When you right-click on an empty portion of the Navigation Window and select
View All, does the model zoom out to the extents so that the model disappears as
it is now tiny. If so, you may have some
extraneous geometry on the outskirts of the model.
To check this, zoom to a position in the model where everything that “should”
be in the model is in view. Use the
select box to select everything in the view. Click the dropdown box next to
Select All in the Select & Search Panel of the Home Tab, and select Invert
Selection. If you have anything
highlighted in the selection tree, you may find that it is far off in space and
can either be deleted from the model you are importing or you can hide (CTRL+H)
these items in Navisworks.
If you haven't already done so, you can try installing the Service Pack 1 for Navisworks 2011 from the following link to see if it corrects the issue:

NavisWorks® 2011 Service Pack 1
