Load of Inventor file cancelled

I'm trying to load an Inventor Pro 2016 assembly (.iam) into Navisworks Manage 2016.  Everytime I try to load it I get an error that three of the inventor content center files can not be found, "can't resolve external refrence" error attached.  If I browse out to the correct path and then click OK the file acts like its loading, but then ends up giving me the error that the load has been canceled.  I've opened the file up in inventor and I'm not getting any red crosses, or other errors.  It also passes a complete rebuild, so the file appears "clean" in inventor.  All the software and Windows 7 64-bit are up to date.  And my machine has 32 Gb RAM and Quadro K2200 video card running the latest approved driver.  Any ideas what's making it crash out?

Thank you for your post in the community.  It looks like you are trying to bring in a native Inventor assembly (IAM) into Navisworks for viewing, but are seeing a breakdown in the relay of this data.  In this case, I have seen similar behavior before with Inventor based assemblies, and have seen favorable results with the Navisworks export utility to relay the data from this differing file format.  To help in this case, please see the export utility tool download in the link below to test and confirm the relay of the data from one file format to the other.  Please keep us posted and let us know if this helped answer your post.  Thank you and we look forward to your reply.

Did you edit your options -> File readers -> Inventor to supply the path to the folder where the Inventor project is located ?

Hi Gregg,

Could you let us know if the suggestions made have helped to solve this issue, or if you still require additional assistance?

Thanks,
