Hyperlink from external file to a Viewpoint in Navisworks Manage or Freedom

Hello,

I am looking to see if there is a way to create a hyperlink in an external document that opens a .nwd into a specific viewpoint. For example, I would like to place hyperlinks on a PDF floorplan in each room that opens the .nwd and a viewpoint from within each specific room. So if I click on the room name for the electrical room on the PDF, Navisworks opens into the saved viewpoint for the electrical room.

Does anybody know if this can be done and how to make it work?

Thank you for your post.  At this time there is not a way to automatically open this NWD file format, with the viewpoint from within an embedded file (in this example PDF).  However what I would suggest is to further submit this request to our product developers via the link below.  This is the product feedback link.  This link will help further explain the business impact of this behavior in the software’s current configuration/build.  This feedback will go directly to the product manager for consideration with future builds/updates.
