Hi Autodesk Techanical Support

How to maintain color from revit to navisworks? All material and color disappeared in Naviswork.?

Thanks and Regards,

You are correct, color does not come over from Revit (does for AutoCAD, not Revit).  What you will see in NW from Revit is, at best, is the material define to the objects via the Object Styles.  However, there is a note when exporting to NWC from Revit to "try and find materials", often materials will get lost as well.  I recommend building SearchSets inside of NW and then use the Appearance Profiler or Presenter to assign a color/material.

If you're working with textures and the like, you can export an FBX file from Revit and you'll see some of the textures and colors. It's not as robust as an NWC export, but it does get the look mostly right. I've used this on architectural elements so users can see brick vs concrete and the like.
