How to get Revit "Areas" into Navisworks?

We have the issue that we need to get the informations of the areas (areaplans) out of Revit, into navisworks.

Our Workflow:

Native Revit file opened in Navisworks -> All 3D objects are available, but all 2D Elements like the "areas" are not imported.

Is there a possibility to get area (areaplans) into navisworks, without using any workaround like exporting to IFC.

It is crucial to "import" the native rvt file into navisworks, transforming into any other format is no option.
