Hi
I have imported these files:
1 dwg (architecture)
1 nwc (construction)
4 dwf piping files
2 dwf (airducts)
I am doing some clash detections and there are a lot of collisions.
But how do I know (especially in X and Y) thah the correlation between theese files are correct (that they all are correct in correlation to each other after import)
Some of the files I have to "lift up" to the right Z value after import and can easily check against floors etc, but how can I check That X and Y doesnt need to move as well?
Regards
Same way the people do it in the real world: they place a mark somewhere to indicate where the 0-level is.
In other words:
One department or contributor should create an very easy 3D dwg with the building axes on, drawn on the z=0, whatever that means. In our country 0 = top of the tiles of the floor on the groundfloor.
All other departments should use this DWG as a reference to see if they are drawing in the right zone and on the right level.
