Exporting Viewpoints

Hello,

I'm having an issue with exporting viewpoints that have redlines in them (just text and circles in each viewpoint). When my coworker tries to import the .xml file he gets an error message:

If I go in, remove the redlines and export again, he is then able to import the viewpoints. Oh yeah, we are using Navisworks Simulate 2014.

Any ideas?  Thanks for your help,

Are you both on the same Service pack of Simulate 2014 ?
Is (the same version of ) Autodesk Materials installed on both computers, that "pattern" thing may possibly rely on that.

As a work-around you can open the .xml file in an .xml viewer/editor (Notepad++), do a search (Ctrl+F) for pattern="65535 and use the replace function (it's a tab in Note++) to replace all instances of pattern="65535" with nothing (leaving the Replace With box blank escentally deletes all instances).

You should then be able to import the viewpoints into Navisworks.
