Export to NWC without Material

Does anyone know a quick way to export a NWC file without materials?

Depending on the application you export the NWC file from, you can disable the materials in the Options Editor (e.g. when exporting from AutoCAD, type NWCOPT to go to the Options Editor).

You will find a "Convert Autodesk Materials" checkbox in the "File Readers" section.

Hello Holger,

not in general... disabling "convert Autodesk materials" in the Inventor reader will

import the objects with visible materials, but not available in the materials browser.

It looks as if it would in Inventor, but it flickers all the time... and there´s a nice cube

map that appeared from out of nowhere 😉

Kind regards

When asked for importing without materials I choose a format which eighter

does not support materials or gives you the options to disable mapping or

conversion.

DXF for example does a good job when I need to import something void of

colours or materials from 3DsMax. Also some older formats enable you to

get rid of grouping on a base level.

Kind regards
