Everything selected when opening NW2014

When I open NW, it always defaults first thing with something selected.  If it is an NWC I am opening, it will select the entire NWC, or if I am opening an NWF, the last appended NWC will be selected.  Is there a way/setting/etc to stop this?

Thank you for your post.  In this case the issue looks linked to overall configuration of NW2014.  Has this always been the case?  Have you tried a repair to NW via the control panel to reset the software configuration and then test?  Please keep us posted and let us know how this worked out.  Thank you.

I have completely clean uninstall and reinstall, SP and Hot fixed.  It still does it.  When I open a any NWF, NWD or NWC, it comes open and selected.

Kudos Darren.  WHile this problem isn't a show-stopper, it is aggrivating.

Still happening and can't for the life of me figure out why.  I have tried settings every which a way.  I then exported my settings to xml and read into an install in our training room where Manage is not a part of the FDS.  It opened without the files selected.  So it ain't the settings.
