collapse selection tree

Dear all,

is there a possibility to easily collapse a widely expanded selection tree into many sublevels?

Along the way working in a Navisworks Session (NWF) the tree is expanded to several models, geometry, ect. and becomes very long.

So we're looking for a one-click solution to minimize/collapse all branches.

Any advice available?

Thanks,

danko

In my Navisworks 2015, both in Standard and Compact view of the Selection tree, all I need to do is click the + just before the filename of the NWD on the 1st line. so for the NWD files, it is a 2-click solution.
In an NWF, there is indeed no master level. using the Left arrow <- on your keyboard however is a shortcut that can help speed up things.

You can cycle through the levels in selection tree by holding "Shift" and click the element.

Everytime you click, the selection cycles through the levels available in the "Selection Tree"

Hello,

We have implemented a new collapse all button (Icon prototype only) for Navisworks 2025 (Expected April 2024). This should make collapsing many trees all at the same time much simpler.
