Clash Checking - Vertical Check

Hi,

I’ve got a query regarding checking vertical objects. Basically, we’ve setup a clearance check between the drainage design (blue) and gas pipe (red) which has spotted a clash shown below (green). This is great but actually the whole length of the drainage design should be clashing because it’s directly under the gas pipe i.e. one would have to excavate down through the gas pipe to then construct the drainage. Is there a way to check for vertical clashes (up to the ground model)?

The only way to do vertical clash that you are looking to perform would be to add the vertical volume to your model.

you can do a soft clash with these objects by adding a tolerance to the clash test, but that will check the entire area around the pipe not just the vertical.
