Central synchronization for co-ordination

We have created a merged navis file (File name ABC) were three service (MEP) have been appended. Now if we update the appended file individually, can we see the updates in the ABC file automatically. Please suggest.

I guess that would be nice... hitting the update button

implies this I guess but if it´s working I don´t know.

Assuming it places the native file as a link only it would

make sense.

Hopefully it DID work that way... I did no cross check.

If the three file that you append is Navisworks file the there are some update from original file you need refresh (F5) the see the latest update. If you append file from original source ( rvt, dwg, dgn, ipt, etc) you will see automatically the latest update.
