Centering section box to current selection

Hi All,

Is there a way to move an existing section box to your current selection?

its really annoying having to use the move gizmo to the correct location or entering in the correct coordinates especially when the model is the entire plant.

  • Yes, there is, at least in Freedom 2014 or higher In the window, select one (or more items holding the Ctrl Key) that will deterime the maximum size of the clipbox
  • Then Review -> Enable Sectioning Box, and Fit Selection.
  • Then Right click in the view and select "Focus on Item" in the right mouse menu

Download the 30-day trial of Manage 2015
Do your job in an NWD, when the boxes are creatd, save them as viewpoints
Save as NWD 2013
Open with manage 2013
Export the viewpoints XML
Import the viewpoints in your current project

After the 30-day trial, get the upgrade
Or you can edit the Viewpoints Export XML to change the origin and the size of the clipping cube in there.
