AutoCAD to Revit MEP to Navisworks???

Backgournd:
I've have a potential new employeer that wants the interior of a building
modeled for him so his MEP folks can bring the model into Revit MEP and then
take my building model and their MEP model and run collision analysis with
Navisworks. I've done tons of work in 3d in AutoCAD, but little in Revit and
nothing in Revit MEP and never used Navisworks.

Question:
So, can the Revit MEP folks bring a 3d solid model into their software from
ACAD for use in creating their pipe, duct and other drawings? (Yeah I know
it's a more Revit based question but since it pertains to ultimately ending
up in NW I figured I'd start here).

Next, can Navisworks import in the Revit MEP model and the ACAD 3d solid
model and use them both for doing collision analysis?

Finally, considering I have vast experience with ACAD, Max, Rhino, and other
3d modeling and rendering applications, how hard is it to pick up working in
Navisworks?

Thanks,
-Jon

Transferring the data from AutoCAD to Revit and then to Navis will not be an issue. Navis is CAD format neutral and can open multiple formats in the same model. The only issue may be if there are multiple versions being used like an AutoCAD 06 model with the MEP 2010 model. Then some object may appear in wireframe, but there is a work around for that also. However, by using AutoCAD for the architecture you are loosing data when it is transferred into Revit, The optimum workflow would be to create the Architecture in Revit Arch and link the models in MEP then go from there.
