Thought I responded to this already, maybe it was over in AUGI.  Anyways, "transparency" in AutoCAD and Navisworks are two separate concepts even though they are functionally similar.  It *might* be possible to get it in as a Wish List item for modifying the DWG reader (somebody might be able to create a third-party Navisworks plug-in too).  In the meantime, the Appearance Profiler should greatly speed up applying that kind of setting.

How do we add this to the "wish list" for the developers?

If you are a member of AUGI you can submit these in their wishlist. The product teams have access to view the lists and see which items users are requesting.
