Hello
Is there a way to use wildcard matching within the appearance profiler.
I would like for example to be able to select:
Category: Item
Property: Name
Input: Window*
I can achieve this by first using find items then saving it to s selection sets and then using the profiler on the selection sets.
But the process of creating these selection sets have to be done every time I get a new version of the model.
Therefore I am hoping for a easier way.
Thank You.

Have you tried creating search sets instead? These will be dynamic with when the model changes? Linking the appearance to a Search Set works the same way as Selection Sets.
Thank you.
That made it a lot easier.
I was not aware of this possibility to define search sets.

I am trying to apply "transparency" to layers containing term 'FUTURE' using 'By property' option, but dropdown shows only two conditions (equal, does not equal). Unlike in 'Find Items' where we have contain, wildcard etc. when we use this By Property option for the same we can update the new contents of this nwf/nwd files.
Whereas when we use by set then we will have to update set first before updating Appearance profiler and if set is based on saved search then we will have to re-search the new contents again in short redo everything.
Hence if we can get more Conditions to select in appearance profiler by property it would help a lot.
Please correct me if I am missing anything.
I want to apply "transparency" to layers containing term 'FUTURE' in it, by using 'By Property' option. But dropdown shows only two conditions (equal, does not equal). Unlike in 'Find Items' where we have contain, wildcard etc.
Idea is to apply the transperancy on newly added contents just by clicking update in this Appearance profiler window.
Unless w'll have to create new set every time we have new content in nwf file.
