Any coordinate information from API?

I work with the Navisworks API.

I want to get the point coordinate information(X,Y,Z) when I click on the model.

I found that I can get the X,Y,Z coorindate information by measure tool in Navisworks Manage.

Can I get these information by any function in API?

Thank you.

Instead of starting a new post, I'll just glom on to this one seven months late.

Actually, I'm looking for the same information and wondering if anyone might be able to shed some light on how this is done.  I'm working in Navisworks Simulate 2011.  I want to be able to click on the model, preferably with the measure tool, and be able to capture or access the XYZ point coordinate that it finds.

potterau - were you ever able to solve your problem?

Thanks all,

Guy

Thanks for your question.

Dedicated API support is provided via our ADN programme. More information on this can be found here at www.autodesk.com/adn.

Thanks,
