300 DPI image

Hi all,

I'm trying to render an image in navisworks that is atleast 300 dpi. My image is 8.5"x11". So far I've adjusted the output resolution to 2550x3300 and it renders fine. But when I check the properties of the JPG in widows explorer it tells me the image is only 96 dpi...

Any help/advice?

Thanks!

hi,

In order to meet a DPI resolution you need to calculate how many pixels is needed. I made a spreadsheet you may use to calculate the pixels needed -  link:  pictureresolutioncalculator
