What hardware does the ray tracing render use? Is it the CPU or the graphics card? If the graphics card, is it CUDA based? What is going to give me more rendering speed?

Ray Trace uses the CPU to render the display. If you are working in Navisworks, you can see this by opening the Windows Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), go to the Performance tab, and watch the CPU utilization as you turn on Ray Trace (all cores should go to 100%).
For this feature, as the speed and number of CPU cores increases, the performance should increase.
Is there any way to speed up the ray tracing process using Nvidia Quadro graphics cards? or does this process relies only on the cpu?
