Datalink connection to excel document does nothing.

Hi there, 

I would appreciate any help I can get with this. We produce excel schedules for our designs . We want to append these schedules to the Navisworks model before handing the model to the client. It is very important that I can do this from an excel sheet. l Naturally I want to do this using DataTools Link. 

I have followed a few youtube tutorials - however my DataTools Links are doing nothing at all. No errors. Not working. Just nothing. I am currently trying to get data to attach in anyway, so the content is not important for the time being.

Here is my datalink:

My SQL Statement : SELECT * FROM [Test$] WHERE "Type" = %prop("Item","Type");

I have tried excel as both a table and just normally entered fields.

I have chosen to use Items - Type because it is the same value on all items, and currently I want to make sure that the DataTools Link works fine for all items.

I am currently working on Navisworks Manage 2019. The Navisworks file is an NWD. The model in question here was made in Plant 3D 2019.  My excel is the 64-bit version.
