I am using Autocad 2014 and Navisworks Simulate 2014 in which i have a point could in my model. My supervisor uses Navisworks Freedom 2012 and can not see the point cloud when I send her the nwd file.
I did a .nwc out in Autocad 2014. Then I opened the nwc file with Navisworks Simulate 2014 and did a save as to a Navisworks 2012 nwd file. And the point cloud is still not visible.
Is this due to the fact we are using different versions of Autocad and Navisworks?
Check your global options, ensure that you have all the check boxes checked under DWG/DXF file import, and have the version of AutoCAD you are pulling in selected. If it looks ok in Simulate and then does not look ok in Freedom, make sure they have the same version of Freedom as you have Simulate.
