External component has thrown an exception

Dear all,

I am using DLL files in Navisworks 2013 in my program.

Currently, we try to migrate our program to 2014.

However, when I run Autodesk.Navisworks.Api.Document.TryOpenFile(), an error 'External component has thrown an exception' will be thrown.

Could anyone give me some hints?

Stack trace:

at Autodesk.Navisworks.Api.Interop.LcOpKernel.TryLoadFile(String filename, Progress progress)

at Autodesk.Navisworks.Api.Document.TryOpenFile(String fileName)

Thanks,

John

perhaps not all dlls of 2013 have been replaced to those of 2014.

Hi Xiaodong,

Sorry for submiting a duplicated post.

I have removed all Autodesk DLL and import again with the DLL in Navisworks Manage 2014.

Regards,

John
