How can I capture images for report?
If I go to Default settings/Report Generation, all Capture image buttons is deactivated.
Is there some settings that can activate Capture buttons?

Hi Andy,
Any update on this?
I'm having the same issue for all of the report generation - capture image settings.
Thanks,
Ben
Hi @Anonymous
It appears that the "capture image" functionality has not been developed yet. Those commands are disabled in 2019 also.
Dear John,
This is quite disappointing, this functionality existed in Simulation Mechanical. We have been forced to start using Nastran due to end of life of Simulation Mechanical. But the functionally seems to be quite lacking when comparing the two, and to make the results reports our customers expect we now have to use workarounds to get the result images.
I wonder how other user see this.
Hello @Anonymous,
we empathize with your frustration with the workflow and have informed the Product Team of the matter.

Shigeaki K.

Is there any progress on this.
It seems especially important to be able to show Safety Factor in the report(s) however it seems no way at point to do this.
A way to size the images in the report is very much needed. Plotting to fit makes the images fit resulting in text that is too small to read
I see this is an old thread. Looking for the solution for sizing the images in the report and did not find a solution so far.
Did Autodesk solve the image sizing problem so that a report can be read normally or save as a PDF?
I found a manual way of adjusting all the images and it takes a minute or less, of there is a smarter way please share.
I just open the .html file in a text editor and replace all occurrences of string
.jpg" border=1
with
.jpg" border=1 width="1500"
