I send my scene from 3ds max to motion builder.When i finished my animation and update the scene from motion builder to 3ds max, the finger bones didn't shows correctly(There are not any space between finger bones before i update my scene). Just like the picture below. I wanna to know how to fix that. Thanks!
Hi,
I would like to help you with this problem. for example, If your character has three joints in one finger you have to creat one more bone at the end of each finger (The Nub Bone). Use this addional bone only to prevent problems occurring, not for skinning.
Note, you have to use this method for the toes as well.
