Converting Animation to mp4 movie

Hi guys

I am pretty new in MuBu and I am animating a scene used for my bachelor thesis. I am recording Kinect inputs and then animating them. Now how it is possible to use the saved fbx file as a mp4 file. Or whatever you can play with a normal media player. Do i use some autodesk film software to transfer it? Does somebody has a tutorial? I fastly scanned the net without any solutions.

Thx for your help

Greez

Hi,

this process is called rendering. You can read about that in the documentation page here - http://download.autodesk.com/global/docs/motionbuilder2014/en-us/files/Rendering.htm
MoBu supports render to *.avi, *.mov *.swf(flash) and some image formats. For making a mp4 you have to first of all render to one of the avaliable formats and then convert it to the mp4.

hi, recently, I encountered a similar problem so maybe you can help me? I would like to export an MP4 video (H.264, AAC). I have downloaded a movie from YouTube, and I would like to perform some quantification on it. So I want to stream the movie to MP4 for a better edition, my friend asked me to download a program here http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/movie-to-mp4-converter.html however, I have never used such program so have no idea about it. I tried to find http://download.autodesk.com/global/docs/motionbuilder2014/en-us/index.html?url=files/Rendering.htm,... to help me, but seems I got the wrong direction, what should I do next? idea?
