Heya, I have a problem that is currently driving me nuts:
I am trying to export a .bvh file from Motionbuilder. However every time I do this the hips become my root bone, not the reference bone, this eliminates all translation of the character in the room, which I do not want.
How can I export a .bvh that is not using the "hips"-bone as root?
Have you characterized this BVH yet? Becuase that would be how mobo can understand the BVH.
Thanks for the reply. But that didn't solve the issue.
I characterized the skeleton, and manually added the reference bone into the characterization. The .bvh still shows the same issue of being achored at the hip.

I think that is how BVH expcets it, you might have to bake down the translation to the hip joint.
