Hi, I'd like to report a problem (and propose a solution) about the "mpi2ans" command. This command is useful to export structural models from Moldflow to Ansys. This command works well for midplane analysis, but it doesn't work for 3D analysis. I investigated a bit and understood the problem: when Moldflow write the .cdb file for Ansys to read (.cdb is a text file with the instructions), it declare the element type after the creation of all the elements. Following this Ansys doesn't create any elements, because when he read the lines for element creation, he doesnt have any element type setted, so he just ignore these lines. It can easily be fixed manually just by cutting the lines for the element declaration (located at the end of the file) and pasting them to the start of the file. Hope this hint will help to improve next versions of the software, so manual intervention won't be necessary anymore. I'm actually using Moldflow 2019 version. Best regards, Andrea
