Does it render like this, or only when viewing the working viewport?

Hi. Not much to go for. My guess is, that it doesn't render this way, and that it goes away when shifting the display from "Realistic" to "Shaded". I think this is a viewport-specific problem related to the AO settings.

Right click on the [+] top left in the viewport - choose configure - choose the "Visual Style & Appearance" panel - adjust the Ambient Occlusion (AO) settings till the black stripes goes away.

Hope it helps

thanks proh...

i've tried your solution but the black stripes dont go away. it is indeed a viewport problem, cause it renders normal.

do you have any other suggestions?

thanks!

There are some things to test/investigate:
- What happens when you set the viewport to Shaded instead of Realistic?
- Do you use default light in the viewport? If so, what happen if you change the default light from 2 to 1 (or the other way around)?
- If nothing else solves it, then what happens if you change the display driver to something else (ie. Nitrous dx9 or Direct3D)?
