.stl not showing

Hi,

I have been saving files as .stl in Maya OSX 2015 for a while for 3D printing, but recetly, Maya stopped recognizing .stl at all for import or export.

Any ideas?

I am having this issue - did you ever get it resolved? I think I must be missing plugin?

make sure direct connect is installed (should be by default) and loaded in the plugin manager.
