The tutorial in Maya 2015 student version says to select Edit Mesh > Interactive Split Tool. In the Edit Mesh drop down menu I can't find Interactive Split Tool. The closest I can find is Split Mesh With Projected Curve. Do I have to right click the mesh and select a EDGE OR FACE OR SOMETHING ELSE? Thanks! I included a screenshot but, it doesn't show the drop down menu under EDIT MESH.
Use Mesh Tools->Multi Cut Tool. (They got rid of the interactive split tool, but never updated the tutorial.) The Multi-Cut tool basically does the same thing.
