I was using Maya 2011 recently, and discovered that, somehow when I extrude anything of a polygon mesh, or parts of a mesh, the extrude manipulator handle (automatic move, rotate, scale, (all-in-one)) does NOT show. So, I end up going to use the move tool, scale tool, and rotate tool as separate tools for extrusions. I don't know what happened, nor how to fix the extrude tool. I never had this problem before.
